Rose works as a waitress at the Ale House, a little restaurant and bar in Cape Cod that serves the local clientele. Her older brother Tyler appears to be the manager of the small family-run business.[1]

Rose is working on the day Ash Upton walks in and applies for a job at the Ale House.[2] Her brother interviews Ash and hires her on the spot.[3] Ash shows up for her first night later that same evening. Rose presents her with her uniform shirt, and after verifying she's a minor, tells Ash her brother will handle drink orders.[4]
Rose takes Ash around and shows her the ropes of serving the public in a small restaurant.[5] Near the end of her mentoring, Rose has one last pointer for her. Grabbing the front of Ash's polo shirt, she opens the top buttons, exposing her cleavage and bra, and telling her there is only a one letter difference between "tits" and "tips". Rose is disappointed when Ash refastens most of the buttons, saying it's her money.[6]
Rose appears on and off while Ash is working in the Ale House, until Ash has to quit and return to Tempest at the end of her vacation.
